Military Science and Leadership

The Military Science and Leadership minor covers the academic rigors of joining the Profession of Arms as an Army Second Lieutenant.  Academic and hands-on instruction include application of leadership skills, land navigation, military history, principles of military operations, and small unit tactics.  Students are introduced to the ethical dilemmas and complex problems that our Army Officers face on a daily basis.The leadership principles explored in this class and applied in this minor are highly sought after in today’s military and civilian sectors alike. 

For the minor, students will take a total of 24 credit hours of electives consisting of:
