Emphasizes rhetorical analysis of texts and images, research methods, and the conventions of academic writing, including argumentation. This course is ordinarily awarded as transfer credit for incoming students who have completed college-level writing courses accepted as substitutes for HUM H190 First-Year Writing Seminar.
