ACCREDITATION

Rose-Hulman is regularly evaluated to ensure compliance with federal regulations and quality standards established by accreditation agencies.  Rose-Hulman has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1916. Our most recent reaffirmation of accreditation occurred in 2024-2025. Additionally, several of Rose-Hulman’s degree programs have received specialized accreditation.  The Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Design, Mechanical Engineering, NanoEngineering, Optical Engineering, and Software Engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET.  The Computer Science Program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET. The most recent ABET comprehensive reviews of our programs occurred during the 2024-2025 academic year.
